1.Select the material matching the sample's hardness and chemical properties (ease of oxidation, corrosiveness).

2.For high purity requirements, choose materials less likely to contaminate the sample (e.g., PTFE, nylon). When high-hardness grinding media are needed, opt for cemented carbide, silicon carbide, etc.

3.Choose a vacuum ball mill jar when grinding needs to be isolated from air or conducted in a specific gas atmosphere.

4.Ball mill jars made from different materials vary significantly in price; select a cost-effective product based on the actual budget.

5.For frequent use, choose materials with good wear resistance and long service life, such as zirconia or silicon carbide.
