The positive electrode typically uses nickel hydroxide on a nickel foam substrate, while the negative electrode uses a hydrogen storage alloy on a nickel-plated substrate. These electrode sheets offer high capacity, low internal resistance, good high-rate performance, long cycle life and stable discharge characteristics. They are suitable for AA/AAA/C/D cylindrical cells, prismatic cells, power tools, hybrid vehicles, toys and energy storage applications.
